WAMZ Pet of the Week: Simba

Hello world! Meet Simba, a friendly four-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix that came to the Kentucky Humane Society as a stray. Simba is quickly becoming a staff favorite with his quirky personality. He loves to cuddle and have his chin rubbed. Unfortunately, at some point in his life he contracted FIV. But don't worry! It's not as bad as it sounds, he can still live a long, healthy life just like any other cat. He will just need to be the only feline in the house or live with other FIV positive kitties. We think he would be okay living with smaller calm dogs, but bigger hyper dog sometimes scare Simba. People tend to pass over special cats like him, which makes us very sad. Special kitties need homes too! Simba promises to give you all the love he has and be your loyal companion for life. Simba is already neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Come meet Simba today at the Pewee Valley Feeders Supply, 12406 La Grange Road. For more on Simba or any of our adoptable pets, please call 502-366-3355 or visit kyhumane.org.
