Riley Green will serve as a coach in a “revamped format” of The Voice.
Green will coach The Voice: Celebrity alongside Queen Latifah and Joe Jonas, NBC announced on Tuesday (August 4). Keke Palmer will join the show as a first-time host while the competition show’s long-running host, Carson Daly, will work as a producer. The Voice: Celebrity, premiering in 2027, “will feature celebrities from entertainment, sports, and reality TV competing in a revamped format with new behind-the-scenes elements like ‘Voice Boot Camp,’ the ‘VIP Room,’ and the ‘Workroom,’” per NBC.
The Voice: Celebrity will be the second season Green and Latifah serve as coaches. They’re both slated to make their coaching debuts on the 30th season of The Voice, which will premiere at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on NBC on September 21, and streaming the following day on Peacock. Green and Latifah will serve as first-time coaches alongside returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine. Jonas is returning to The Voice in its 31st season, The Voice: Celebrity, after serving as a Mentor and an Advisor in previous years.
Additional details about the “revamped” season — including which celebrities will be involved, a trailer and more — have not been announced as of publication time.
