The star-studded iHeartRadio Music Awards took place last night and Thomas Rhett walked away a big winner. Thomas nabbed the coveted Country Artist of the Year trophy, and went on to thank his pregnant wife, noting, "This is our unborn daughter's first awards show, so that's pretty rad."
Thomas also performed on the telecast recreating the video for this latest track “Star of the Show,” with him walking the red carpet while dancers performed around him.
Other country winners included Chris Stapleton, who nabbed Country Album of the Year for “Traveller” and Dierks Bentley, who picked up Country Song of the Year for “Somewhere on the Beach.”
