Louisville, KY--WTFX is a finalist for the 2020 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Crystal Radio Awards. For over 30 years, the NAB Crystal Radio Awards have recognized radio stations for their year-round commitment to community service.
Aside from airing Public Service Announcements (PSAs) for local nonprofit organizations such as the YMCA Black Achievers, New Roots, Inc. and the Louisville Urban League, WTFX worked with organizations like Kentucky African Americans Against Cancer and Jefferson County Public Schools in order to tackle several community-driven projects.
Finalists will be honored and winners will be announced in late April during the 2020 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
