Garth Brooks Fan Compensated For Accident At Show

A Garth Brooks fan who was injured at his show at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena in 2017 will receive $65,000 in compensation.

Jean Ann Crenshaw nearly lost an eye when a metal pole that was being used to loosen a net full of balloons above her fell into the audience. She suffered a broken nose, blocked tear ducts due to scar tissue and a severely bruised face.

The balloon company's insurance paid Crenshaw $25,000 for medical bills and $40,000 for additional damages. (Billboard)

We were at Garth's show a few days later and the balloons didn't drop then, either. Maybe they need to use a new balloon company next time.Balloon drops seem to be a standard at concerts.
