Keeping Troy Gentry's Memory Alive

The late Troy Gentry was remembered Wednesday night during an all-star concert at the Grand Ole Opry House.

Friends including Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, Jon Pardi and Dustin Lynch gathered to honor Troy and to raise money for the Troy Gentry Foundation, the T.J. Martell Foundation and the Journey Home Project.

Troy's widow Angie tells the Tennessean, "He just wanted to help people, and he wanted to have fun doing it. (The causes) were things that were personal, that mattered to him, that touched our families."

Before the show, Eddie Montgomery told us that it's his mission to keep Troy's memory alive.

Troy was killed in a helicopter crash in 2017.
