Kid Rock canceled a concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey this weekend under suspicious circumstances. In case you missed it, the "New York Post" reports that while Kid performed night one of his two-night stand at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, night two was canceled “due to illness,” although some sources are questioning whether that’s true.
Insiders say Kid and his group had quite the night out after the first show, hanging at Robert’s Steakhouse even though they weren’t able to get a private room. Kid apparently got back to his hotel room around 4 am and ordered room service, which never seemed to come. Notes the insider, “He was waiting an hour, an hour and a half, then it was two hours” for his order.
And apparently all that waiting got to him because instead of waiting more the source notes he “just ordered a helicopter and left town,” skipping out on his gig Saturday.
Fans who missed out on Saturday’s show can get a full refund.
