Kenny Chesney Breaks Nashville Attendance Record

Kenny Chesney smashed the attendance record for Nissan Stadium in Nashville when he brought his Trip Around the Sun tour to Music City on Saturday.

He drew a crowd of 55,182, breaking a record the British boy band One Direction set there  in 2014.

Kenny had not played the venue in six years. (Tennessean)

Tickets for this show were hard to come by.

It's no surprise that fans came in droves to see the Tennessee boy perform.

There were tons of his family, friends and music industry types in the audience.
