Maren Morris has been busy at work on her sophomore album -- and some advice from a superstar has helped her put things together.
After the success of her debut album, Hero, Maren has been feeling a lot of pressure to match or surpass it. Thankfully, she has a strong support system to help keep her relaxed, and Keith Urban is a part of it.
Keith recently gave Maren some great advice on how to handle her second album. He said, "This is a snapshot of your life. It's like a yearbook, so don't overthink your second album. It's just songs that reflect those years of time and then you move on and you make another album. Don't even worry about the deadlines; they whoosh past. Just focus on being in there."

Maren was 24 when she recorded her debut album. Now, the "Rich" singer is 28, and she says she's much less judgmental of herself.
There's no doubt several songs on her upcoming album will be inspired by her marriage to Ryan Hurd.
Maren says she has 13 songs that she's confident in. That's about all you need for an album nowadays.
Maren will bring a mobile studio to record in while she's on the Flicker tour this summer.
