You know Gary Sinise as Lieutenant Dan from Forrest Gump, as well as many other acting roles, but the greatest role of his life has been serving our veterans, first responders, and their families with The Gary Sinise Foundation. Over the weekend, his foundation and American Airlines partnered to send more than 1,800 family members of our nation’s fallen heroes from Charlotte to Orlando for a holiday retreat at Disney World. American Airlines donated 11 charter aircrafts with all-volunteer crews. The "Snowball Express" makes the trip every year in appreciation to and love for families and the children who continue to bear the ultimate meaning of service and sacrifice.
