11-Year-Old Louisville Native Impresses On America's Got Talent Premiere

D'Corey Johnson, an 11-year-old singing sensation from Louisville, captured the hearts of viewers and left a lasting impression with the judges on the season premiere of America's Got Talent.

D'Corey incredible journey began when he caught the attention of his schoolmates and teachers with his enchanting voice during the morning announcements. His rendition of the National Anthem led to widespread recognition within his school and community, and eventually inspired D'Corey to embark on three month performance tour across the country.

Recognizing the potential within their son, D'Corey's family made the bold decision to relocate to California, so he could pursue his dreams. Their leap of faith affirmed by AGT's judges, who voted him through to the next round.
