Bold and Bossy just wasn't having it on Saturday.
The two-year-old filly bucked it's jockey and made a run for it, escaping Ellis Park in Evansville. The horse was seen racing down Highway 41. With the help of a couple bystanders and an area sheriff, Bold and Bossy was slowed down.
Bold and Bossy was checked out by a state veterinarian, who said she was doing well after the incident. She was returned to her barn at the track where later that night she was one of six horses that were rescued when it caught fire.
She is one lucky horse!
