H.E.R. is one of the best talents in the world of music. She's got it all - the voice, the killer guitar chops, and she's a master lyricist. Pair her with one another one of music's modern greats, Chris Stapleton, and you have magic.
Their collaboration on H.E.R.'s "Hold On" was my favorite performance of the night at the CMT Awards. Perhaps it was the purple background, but it sure felt like they were channeling Prince. I have a feeling he'd approve.
