My First Ever Kentucky Derby

It was an unbelievably beautiful weekend at Churchill Downs for the 147th Run For The Roses. I had never been to the Kentucky Derby, so I was very excited to experience the moment when all eyes are on Kentucky for the fastest two minutes in sports.

I got an early start, heading out to the track for the Kentucky Oaks on Friday. It was a perfect day for racing and you know I had to enjoy an Oaks Lily with my pink dress!

Despite a reduced capacity the Derby felt like a true return to normal in many ways. It was the first time I got to reunite with many of my friends since we've all had the opportunity to get vaccinated.

One of my favorite moments of the weekend was this backstage moment with one of the track horses.

I loved seeing all of the creative outfits, especially these two.

Big thank you to Jessica and the girls at That Cute Little Shop in the Paddock Shops for outfitting me in two gorgeous dresses. I rarely play dress up, but wanted to go all out for the Derby. These dresses and matching fascinators did not disappoint!

Congratulations to Bob Baffert and team on winning the Kentucky Derby yet again, with Medina Spirit galloping across the finish line at Churchill Downs.

It was an unforgettable weekend!
