I was beyond excited when I found out New Orleans was getting a 2-day country music festival at NOLA Motorsports Park. The first-ever Country Smooth Fest is October 20 and 21st and it features several of my favorites like Justin Moore, Hunter Hayes, and Joe Nichols, but it will also have lots of homegrown talent like Lainey Wilson.

You heard that right. Lainey signed to Broken Bow Records, the home of Jason Aldean! That's got to rock her world, huh? Lainey doesn't have a big head about it, though. She's still a Louisiana girl at heart, as shown by her recent trip back home.
