See Carrie Underwood's Gorgeous Beach-Worthy Look: 'Hawaiian Golden Hour'

Carrie Underwood wore a stunning, beach-worthy gown during the latest episode of American Idol.

Underwood, who turns 43 on Tuesday (March 10), shared photos on Instagram of her gorgeous Idol look during the episode that aired on Monday evening (March 9). The 2005 winner of the show wore a flowing white gown with a brightly-colored floral pattern, and colorful flowers in her hair to match. She said, “Hawaiian golden hour hits different at [American Idol]!” See her look below.

Underwood is returning for her second consecutive year as an American Idol judge, alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. She also reunites with longtime host Ryan Seacrest, who crowned her the winner of the show’s fourth season, and Brad Paisley and Keke Palmer, serving as guest mentors for the season. Monday night’s episode narrowed down Idol contestants to the top 20.

American Idol airs on ABC on Monday nights from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT. It’s available to stream the next day on Hulu.

Bryan is also part of the star-studded lineup of the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival. The show also includes Kane Brown, Parker McCollum, Riley Green, Shaboozey, Dylan Scott, Russell Dickerson, Gretchen Wilson, Chase Matthew and Lauren Alaina. iHeartRadio's Bobby Bones is returning as the event’s host. The show will take place on May 2 at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Tickets to the show are available as of January 23.
