Thomas Rhett just checked two major dreams off his “career bucket list.”
He teamed up with fellow country stars Blake Shelton and Jordan Davis as he extended his seventh studio record with a few new tracks on Friday (July 18).
Now a 22-track project, About A Woman includes “Ain’t A Bad Life” with Davis, “Old Tricks” with Shelton, “Bottle With Your Name On It,” “Small Town Girls” with Tucker Wetmore, “Beautiful As You,” “Gone Country,” “After All The Bars Are Closed” and more. With latest additions, Rhett “mixes mood-boosting reflection, gratitude and good-timing mischief into a playful blend of daring freeform Country,” reads a press release issued Friday morning. The expanded album arrives as Rhett gets ready to take the stage for a sold-out show on Saturday (July 19) at iconic Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.
“This week is a really big deal for me,” Rhett said in a statement in the press release. “If you’d have asked me what two of my biggest career bucket list dreams are, I would have told you headlining a stadium and collaborating with one of my heroes like Blake Shelton. This week, I’m doing both of those things and my mind is blown. The best part is that I get to do it all with great friends and out on the road with my fans, surrounded by a team who has supported me from day one. I’m grateful and pumped and we’re going to bring every ounce of energy to Fenway this weekend. It’s one of the most iconic places you can play, and getting to come back to headline—especially with new music that means so much to me—feels like the perfect full-circle moment.”
Rhett is in the midst of his headlining “Better In Boots Tour” with Wetmore, The Castellows and Dasha on select dates. the Fenway Park show will also include “Lose Control” artist Teddy Swims. See Rhett’s remaining tour stops below, and listen to his newest songs here:
