WAMZ Pet of the Week: Leg Man

Leg Man is a super social orange kitty who was an outside cat who was not thriving because of a leg injury, so he was turned in to a municipal shelter. The shelter asked the Kentucky Humane Society to help, as Leg Man needed medical care that they were unable to provide. Leg Man had an old wound on his left front leg that resulted in severe muscle atrophy, and he was not bearing weight on it or using this leg. Our veterinary team amputated the atrophied leg, and Leg Man is now doing much better! This sweetheart is quite the talker and absolutely loves attention. As he recovered from surgery, he quickly became a favorite of our veterinary team and everyone who meets him. He is fearful around dogs and would love a home where he can spend time in someone's lap without canines present. Leg Man is also FIV positive, so he is looking for a family either without other cats or with other FIV positive kitties. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind companion, Leg Man's your man! He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccinations. Meet Leg Man today at the Hikes Point Feeders Supply, 3079 Breckenridge Lane.
