WAMZ Pet of the Week: Azar

Let us introduce you to the gorgeous Azar! This stunning girl is a one-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier mix and she came to the Kentucky Humane Society before Hurricane Irma hit the shelter she had been in. Once arriving in the bluegrass state, it was obvious that Azar has an intense love for tennis balls and other toys. So she spent some time in our Behavior Modification program to learn how to drop her toys when asked as well as work on her manners. Azar is a very smart girl and loved learning new things! She is also a very high energy pup who requires a lot of play time and walks. She would be great for an active family who can keep up with her training. Once she is tired out, she loves nothing more than to chill out on her bed for a nap. Azar spent some time in foster, and her foster mom said she is potty trained, crate trained and just a joy to be around. She likes to be right by your side whenever possible, and will give you kisses every chance she gets to remind you how much she loves you. While Azar enjoys the occasional play date with other dogs, she'd be happiest as an only pet where she can get all the attention she deserves. Is Azar the right match for you? She is already spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Come play with her today at our adoption center in the Pewee Valley Feeders Supply, 12406 La Grange Road.
