Loretta Lynn Hospitalized After Suffering Stroke

Country legend Loretta Lynn was forced to postpone her current tour after being hospitalized Thursday after suffering a stroke in her Tennessee home. 

"She is currently under medical care and is responsive and expected to make a full recovery," a message on her website reads. "Loretta, who just celebrated her 85th birthday, has been advised by her doctors to stay off the road while she is recuperating. Regrettably, upcoming scheduled shows will be postponed." 

Loretta was supposed to perform in Durham, North Carolina Friday and in Myrtle Beach, North Carolina on Saturday, and has promised to reschedule all missed dates.

Loretta’s sister Crystal Gayle took to social media to thank fans for all their “love, prayers and support,” and added, “we hope for a speedy recovery.”
