WILLIAM MICHAEL MORGAN and Runaway June's JENNIFER WAYNE have decided to call off their engagement . . . after only three months. They posted the news separately and it looked like they were on good terms. At first.
He wrote: "Jennifer and I have called off our engagement. We came to the mutual agreement that this is what's best for both of us right now. Thank you for your support and respecting our privacy during this time."
She kind of echoed that, writing, "William and I have called off our engagement. We came to the mutual agreement that this is what's best for both of us right now."
But THEN she posted a photo on Instagram of her left hand with NO engagement ring, plus these lyrics from the Stealing Angels' song "Lipstick": "If you're gonna love somebody. Yeah, you better love somebody who ruins your lipstick, not your mascara."
So, he "ruined her mascara," which obviously means he made her cry. That could simply mean she's sad to see their relationship come to an end. Or, it could be that he did something stupid a mere three months into their engagement. I'm the suspicious type, so I'm going with stupid.
