Two-year-old Berti is a Hound mix who came to the Kentucky Humane Society when her owner found her behavior in the home destructive. Berti does get bored and chew on things she shouldn’t, but with redirection, plenty of exercise and training, we think Berti can learn what she can and cannot chew on. Berti does have a lot of energy, and will need to have activities that channel that energy into appreciate behaviors. So she’ll need a family with the time and the energy needed to make her the best girl she can be. Won’t you give her a chance? She’s spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on her vaccinations.
