The restaurant at the center of the Paula Deen racism scandal abruptly closed today (Thursday) -- so abruptly that she didn't even tell her employees.
TMZ says workers found out they were out of a job when they showed up this morning only to find the sign down and appliances being removed. The move was announced in a brief Facebook message that read, "Thank you for 10 great years. Uncle Bubba’s is now closed."
You may recall it was Uncle Bubba's former general manager Lisa Jackson who brought the harassment suit against Paula that toppled the cook's business empire.
