There's one award Justin Timberlake hasn't won yet that he really, really wants -- one for a country album.

He tells Billboard about his onetime dreams of being a country star. JT says, “They’re still alive. I just did an interview earlier today and I said, ‘I’m America, that’s what I am –- in all senses of the word.' I grew up outside of Memphis, Tennessee, and I listened to country music, R&B music, classic rock…everything.”

And though he has a ton of pop nominations for Sunday's American Music Awards, he jokes, “I still got my eyes on a Best Country Album. There’s time for that.”

Justin has dabbled in country in the past. He appeared on Reba McEntire’s Duets album, and he’s recorded with Sheryl Crow. And Before breaking out as a child star on The Mickey Mouse Club, Justin cut his teeth on the local talent show circuit in Memphis by covering Garth Brooks
