Kelsea Ballerini enlisted the help of her fiancé, Morgan Evans, on the title track of her new album.
She tells Vulture, "Morgan has this really soft harmony on 'Unapologetically.' I just wanted to have these moments and these textures that added real life to my album. Obviously he’s a huge part of it, because he inspired the whole back half of it."
Kelsea says she's matured since making her first album and so have the songs.
Unapologetically comes out on November 3rd. Kelsea plans on getting married after the album is released.
She says she looks to Taylor Swift for guidance since she's a good example of how her songs have grown up with her.
She and her mother are really close. She took her to see John Mayer when he was in Nashville last week.
