Meet Lady Boomhauer! Lady Boomhauer is a three-year-old Coonhound who came to the Kentucky Humane Society from an overcrowded shelter. This big goofy Hound weighs around 47 lbs and has a jolly hello for everyone she meets. Like many Coonhounds, Lady Boomhauer is a talkative girl who would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard for her to play in. We do not feel she would do well in an apartment setting due to her loud hello and her large size. Lady Boomhauer has done okay with large dogs 40 lbs and up but is not a good fit for a home with small animals. Because of this, Lady Boomhauer is required to meet any dogs in the home before adoption. Lady Boomhauer is a total sweetheart who just needs an understanding person to love. Could that be you?
