LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville is now a pro soccer city.

In April of 2015, Louisville City FC will begin play in the United Soccer League with Louisville Slugger Field as its home field. The team is moving to Louisville from Orlando and will be affiliated with the Orlando City Soccer Club of Major League Soccer.

Team officials believe they will have a strong turnout and says they already have some deposits down for season tickets.

The team is also looking into hosting exhibition games with MLS and English Premier League teams.
